Basic and applied research in combustion, heat transfer, and fluid flows. ​Present focus is on advanced concepts for energy utilization for power generation, propulsion, and industry for  ​​​
  • high thermal efficiency,
  • low-emissions, and
  • fuel flexibility.​​​​
​My research is applicable to 
  • industrial furnaces and boilers.
  • diesel and spark-ignition engines,
  • land-based and aviation gas turbine engines.
