Research

Basic and applied research in combustion, heat transfer, and fluid flows. Present focus is on advanced combustion concepts for power generation, propulsion, and industry to achieve
  • high thermal efficiency,
  • low-emissions, and
  • fuel flexibility.

My research is applicable to
  • industrial furnaces and boilers.
  • diesel and spark-ignition engines,
  • land-based and aviation gas turbine engines,
mitigation of thermoacoustic instabilities
Passive Mitigation of Thermoacoustic Instabilities
